Returns & Exchanges

Need to make a return? Let’s make it simple. Tanner Goods gladly accepts returns for refund, exchange, or store credit on unused, qualifying items within the first 14 days of receiving your purchase.


Online refunds will incur a $7 return fee but exchanges and store credits are complimentary!

1.  Navigate to the Return Portal to start the self guided return or exchange process. Please have your order number and email associated with the order available.

2. Complete the return form including the items you wish to return, the reason, and your desired return or exchange.

3. Once your return is approved, a downloadable prepaid shipping label will be emailed to you along with further instructions to use in shipping your item(s) back to our workshop. Please note, If refund is selected, $7 will be deducted from your refund amount for the return shipping cost. We process exchanges and store credits at no cost to you!

4. Once your return is received and processed, a Tanner Goods customer service representative will be in contact. We typically process returns within 2 to 3 business days from receipt of the return package.  

Please note, the return label is only valid for U.S. domestic shipments, the customer is responsible for shipping international returns.

Keep in mind, the condition of returned items will be at the discretion of the exchange department upon delivery and items must be in sellable condition to qualify.

All custom orders (including monograms) and sale items are final sale and we cannot accommodate returns or exchanges for these items 



Tanner goods in-store returns will give you $5 extra if you choose store credit instead of refund.

Items purchased online or in-store can be returned or exchanged in a Tanner Goods store.

Currently, we are unable to give cash refunds.  We can only process refunds to the same credit card used for purchase or give the refund as a store credit.  


Can be used in-store and online. They do not expire.


All monogram purchases are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. The monogramming service makes the item a custom order, and no returns or exchanges will be authorized for the item.


We take pride in the quality and durability of our goods which is why we offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty for every qualifying in-line Tanner Goods leather or bag style purchased from our retail stores,, or authorized dealer. Proof of purchase is required in order to receive a qualifying warranty repair.

We stand by the design, quality and craftsmanship of our goods which is why we are happy to cover issue due to a manufacturer defect incurred during the lifetime of your items. The Limited Lifetime Warranty is applicable to the lifetime of our bags for up to 4 years and leather goods for up to 8 years and covers defective seam stitching, faulty zippers, hardware defects and fabric defects. We will always attempt to repair your item with original or similar materials, however in some cases we may need to use new materials or material colors for your repair. We will always discuss these options with you prior to making the repair.

Please note that we are unable to offer leather restoration. You can reference our leather care information within our FAQ page of the website.

Every item is subject to review by our customer service team. All repairs require proof of purchase. Some repairs that are not due to a manufacturer’s defect may require a reasonable fee. Final Sale, Clearance and Sample Sale items are not covered by our warranty.

If you would like to submit your item for repair, please contact with your proof of purchase and a photo of the item where the repair is needed.


The following items are on final sale and not available for refund, exchange or store credit: Tekio, Nokori Chair, Hardwood Wall Frames, Monogrammed items, Sample Sale items, and Clearance items.

If you are unsure if a product is final sale, it is stated clearly in the product page as FINAL SALE.


Discount codes cannot be combined or applied to previous purchases. Discounts are applied before shipping, handling and tax. Some exclusions may apply.
