i'm writing to tell you of weekends away -
the kind that are quiet and unplanned and
the fog and rain only add to the equation.
weekends where braving the weather
is the perfect compliment to cozying up
in warm socks and wool sweaters with good food.

the kind that are so great
they become tradition.
because tradition is, at it's most basic,
habit invested with importance.
