Overhaul Design Shop Launch

Two of Portland’s most well-rounded designers have joined forces to create a new full service design shop: Overhaul Co. Founded in January, Erik Johnson and Jason Miranda planted their’ roots just a few blocks up the street from us, and we’re more than happy to welcome them to the Old Town/Chinatown neighborhood. Both Erik and Jason have shown work in our gallery space over the past few years, and more recently we’ve teamed up with Erik’s other venture HANK to produce a limited run of hand-built furniture [more of which will be debuting shortly].

Aside from being two extremely talented graphic designers, Erik and Jason also bring a hefty knowledge of materials and fabrication know-how to the table. Long story short, they know how to get things done.

So if you’re in the area this Thursday, be sure to swing by the Overhaul studios and check out they’re first exhibit – Backmasked: A Mixed-Tape Experience. The doors will be open from 7pm – 10pm, with beer on-hand.
